Ms. Lucci Canlas

Ms. Lucci Canlas is the Co-Founder of Kitchen 77 Food Creations Inc., the company behind the innovative brands: Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus and Bunny Banana. 

She heads K77’s business development activities, which include strategizing for expansion, franchising, and marketing. She and her husband, Mike Canlas, established Bang Bang Bangus, the first flavored fried bangus kiosk, during the pandemic and they were able to open stores in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in three years. In 2023, they established Bunny Banana, the country’s first banana specialty kiosk, which now has more than 20 stores in different malls in Luzon.

Because of this feat, Bang Bang Bangus and its CEO has received different awards including Franchise Asia’s NextGen in Franchising Grand Champion in 2021 and Asia CEO Award’s Entrepreneur of the Year Grand Winner in 2022.

Before entering the food franchise industry, Lucci was the creative director at their marketing agency, 88 Ville Communications, which catered to several of the country’s leading corporations. She also had a career in media, working with various companies such as the Manila Bulletin, ABS-CBN, TV5, and FOX International Channels.

She has also delivered talks on franchising at various seminars, including Mansmith and Fielders' Business Model Week, Continuum Academy's Business Model Week, Francorp's How to Franchise Your Business Seminar, and UST Graduate School's Game Plan: Winning Strategies in Business Franchising.
