Ramon M. Lopez is the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). His extensive government experience with the Presidential Management Staff (PMS), DTI, and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) in the early part of his career provided him with a solid background on macroeconomic and industry development that allowed him to adopt a more holistic trade approach.
As a strong advocate for free entrepreneurship education for 12 years, he was called to serve the country again under President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s administration as the DTI Secretary. He has received several awards such as: the 2016 Nation Builders Award for Government Service for his role as prime mover in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) development; and the Philippine Innovation Man of the Year Award in 2017 for the promotion of social entrepreneurship through innovation. In 2018, he received from President Duterte the Order of Sikatuna, with a rank of Datu, one of the senior honors one can receive in the Philippines.
Recently, Sec. Lopez was named by People Asia as one of the 2020 People of the Year for his efforts in the gradual, safe, and calibrated reopening of the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Angelina “Lin” Mukhi is the Chief People Officer of Scrubbed.net, a professional services firm showcasing Filipino accounting and finance talent. She is also the 2021 President of the People Management Association of the Philippines, the country’s premier association of people managers and a Fellow in People Management, a credential given by the Philippine Society of Fellows to recognized experts in the field of human resource practice.
Well-known as a strategic and transformational leader, Ms. Mukhi has over 25 years of experience with both global and local organizations. She has been a consultant, a practitioner and a member of the academe. Thus, she is able to integrate diverse perspectives from concept to execution of strategy.
She is an Asia Pacific HR Hero awardee among Asia Pacific counterparts for her innovations in talent management with a global bank. She also received the People Developer Award as HR Business Partner in the set-up of a global business support center.
Ms. Mukhi holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, and graduated cum laude for her AB Psychology. She is an author, a professional coach and a working mom who cooks creative dishes and plays the piano to stay well – body, mind, heart and soul.
Dr. Raj Raghunathan is a Professor of Business at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin. He is interested in how people’s judgments and decisions impact their happiness and fulfillment.
His work has appeared in top journals such as The Journal of Marketing, The Journal of Consumer Research, and The Journal of Marketing Research. His work has also been cited in several mass media outlets, including The Atlantic, The New York Times, Fortune, Forbes, and Harvard Business Review.
Dr. Raghunathan’s Psychology Today blog, Sapient Nature, has over 2 million page views. His newest online course on “Employee Happiness” was rated as a Top MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) of 2019, and currently has over 5000 students. His previous MOOC has close to 400,000 students from 196 countries, and was voted the Top MOOC of 2015, 2016, 2017, & 2018, and is currently one of the Top 100 MOOCs of all time.
His book, “If you’re so smart, why aren’t you happy?” has been translated into 13 languages, and was featured in the Atlantic, Time, Guardian, Times of India, Live mint, and Mid-day. In addition, his TED talk was viewed live (on STAR TV) by over 17 million people worldwide.
Mr. Chris Lim is the CEO of Francorp Philippines, the Philippine’s largest franchise development consultancy and President of U-Franchise, the Philippine’s largest franchise matching company. He is the Director for ASEAN of the Philippine Franchise Association and is a co-author of the 12 Strategies of Franchising, the first franchising book featuring 25 Filipino Franchise brands.
He is also co-founder and CEO of Zoom Lab Digital, a digital marketing consultancy aimed at helping entrepreneurs make the most out of digital marketing.
Mr. Lim graduated with Distinction Honors in Strategy and Innovation from Oxford University and spent over a decade growing brands globally as Senior Global Brand Manager for Unilever based in London, Bangkok, Shanghai, Manila & Cebu. A multi-awarded marketer, he won the Young Market Masters Award by Mansmith & Fielders and received the much coveted Agora Award for Entrepreneurship.
Mr. Eric Dee is the COO of one of manila's top food and beverage group, FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS, which holds the brands MESA Filipino Moderne, The Food Hall, Pound, Flatterie, Sunnies Cafe, Bench Cafe, and Llao Llao. They also have 5 Michelin rated restaurants under their belt namely: Tim Ho Wan, FOO'D (foo-doh') by Davide Oldani, Tsuta, Kam's Roast and Hawker Chan which is currently the world's most reasonable Michelin starred establishment in the world from Singapore. they also launched Food District Signatures on 5th – a food hall that houses the perfect mix of iconic brands and food trendsetters.
Recently, Mr. Dee has entered the start up world by co-founding Kraver's Canteen, the country’s fastest growing cloud kitchen.

Mr. Jose Magsaysay, Jr., fondly known as the King of Kiosks, is Chairman Emeritus and CEO of the Potato Corner Group - the first and original flavored fries in the World. To date, Potato Corner has more than 1,300 branches worldwide and is now known to be the World’s Best Flavored Fries.
He was the 2016 Asian CEO of the year, a Certified Franchise Executive and the 2019 EY Entrepreneur of the Year. .
Mr. Magsaysay is a graduate of Asian Institute of Management with a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship. He was recognized as 2019 Asian Institute of Management Triple A Awardee – the highest Alumni Achievement Award of AIM and the AIM Alumni Association.
Marie-Anne Lezoraine is the General Manager of the Worldpanel Division of Kantar Philippines.
She started her career in quantitative custom research but quickly moved to continuous purchase behavior research. With over 15 years of experience in market research and insights, she honed her expertise in regional and global roles looking after a range of international clients, new businesses, and client development.
Prior to joining the Worldpanel Division of Kantar in the Philippines,Ms. Lezoraine spent over 10 years with Europanel (the joint partnership between Kantar and GfK for panel services) based in the UK where she supported the growth of international clients through strategic insights across a large range of FMCG categories.

Michael Liew Fong Tzer is the Business Director of Marrybrown - a Malaysian-based halal-certified fast food restaurant chain established in 1981. His primary duty is Business Development and Expansion of franchise for Malaysia and International Market.
He also manages the operation and training department, corporate governance, corporate stores and franchising management. In addition, he leads the crisis management team of Marrybrown.
Mr. Liew is currently a part of the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) Main Council, the MRCA Southern Division Head and a MRCA F&B Division Council. He is also a member a Chinese Chamber Youth Committee and a Franchise Council Member of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat is a product of the University of the Philippines where she graduated cum laude for her bachelor’s degree in Economics. She also pursued her master’s degree in Economics at the same institution.
From 1994 to 2006, she was a lecturer at her alma mater. She served as an Economic Consultant to the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council from 2001 to 2002, and to the Presidential Management Staff from 2005 to 2006. Furthermore, she served as Deputy Cabinet Secretary at the Office of the President in 2006.
In 2007, she was appointed Undersecretary at the Department of Agriculture where she handled special concerns, administration and finance, and agribusiness and marketing. Additionally, she headed various teams and committees on rural credit, trade and investment promotion, development assistance, international cooperation, organic agriculture, and gender and development.
In May 2018, she was appointed Secretary of the Department of Tourism. Her focus is on sustainable tourism, increasing investments in the sector, enhancing programs for tourism infrastructure, as well as product and market development.
Dr. Benjamin C. Litalien, CFE is the Founder and Principal of Franchise Well, LLC, a consulting practice dedicated to the improvement and enhancement of franchising. He is also on staff at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Education as the Director of the Franchise Management Certificate Program and an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Maryland Global Campus in Adelphi, MD.
Dr. Litalien has invested three decades in the franchise community. With a broad range of executive management and franchise-building experience, his specific strengths are in strategic growth planning, organizational communications, concept management, leadership and franchise development. He has created and implemented strategic plans for a diverse group of companies. Under his direction and management he forged significant expansion in the United States and abroad, as well as increasing brand awareness and improving profitability.
Since forming Franchise Well, he has become a trusted advisor for a diverse collection of organizations using the franchise model including IKEA, RE/MAX, Direct Energy, The UPS Store, Snap-on, Subway, ZEROREZ, fi20 USA, JIBU and InXpress.
Dr. Litalien is a recognized speaker on Franchise Development and Franchising for Good and has been referenced as a franchising expert in feature articles of Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Chain Leader, among others. He is a frequent speaker and presenter for franchise conventions and conferences including Kiddie Academy, InXpress, RE/MAX, the International Franchise Association, Philippine Franchise Association and Franchise Asia.
He holds a bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, completed his doctoral program at the University of Maryland Global Campus and received his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation from the International Franchise Association in 2003. He served on the ICFE Board of Governors for the IFA from 2013 to 2018.
Jose Teodoro K. Limcaoco is the President and CEO of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). He was also appointed Non-Executive Director last February 2019 and a member of the Executive Committee in BPI.
Before coming to BPI, he was the Chief Finance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Sustainability Officer of Ayala Corporation, a PSE-listed company. He was also the Chairman of AC Energy International, Inc. (formerly Presage Corporation) and the President and CEO of AC Ventures Holding Corp. He was also a Director of several Ayala companies, including publicly listed Globe Telecom and Integrated Micro-electronics Inc, and the energy, infrastructure, industrials and healthcare companies of Ayala. He was also a director of the company that operates Zalora Philippines. He remains a director of Mynt, operator of GCash.
Mr. Limcaoco joined Ayala Corporation as a Managing Director in 1998. Prior to his appointment as CFO in April 2015, he held various responsibilities including Trustee and Treasurer of Ayala Foundation, Inc., President of myAyala.com, and CFO of Azalea Technology Investments, Inc.
He served as the President of the Chamber of Thrift Banks from 2013-2015 and has held prior positions with JP Morgan & Co. in Singapore and New York and with BZW Asia. He was named as the ING-Finex CFO of the Year in 2018.
Mr. Limcaoco graduated from Stanford University with a BS Mathematical Sciences degree (Honors Program) in 1984 and from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA (Finance and Investment Management) in 1988.
Al Panlilio is President and CEO PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications, Inc. He is a veteran Executive and a strong force in the world of business - in the telecommunications, information technology and energy service industries.
He started his career at IBM with systems development and programming and earned his stripes as executive lead looking after various large industries. Then he spent two years with ABS-CBN, facilitating synergy among its various subsidiaries.
Mr. Panlilio joined PLDT in 1999 as First Vice President of the Corporate Customer Services sector. He later on led the establishment of the PLDT Global Corporation.
In 2010, he moved to Meralco to lead its Customer Retail Services and Corporate Communications. In July 2019, he returned to PLDT as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer then he was named President and CEO of Smart Communications in August 2019, with a mission to regain market dominance on the wireless side.
With customer-centricity as his driving force, he built a strong culture of hyper-collaboration that drove sustainable improvement and growth. Mr. Panlilio’s leadership steered the company well into the growth path, gaining headway on market share against competition – significantly moving the needle in terms of revenue. In June 8, 2021, he was officially appointed as PLDT’s President and CEO.
He earned his double MBA from J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Illinois, USA, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He took up his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the San Francisco State University in California, USA.
Ernie Koh is currently the Executive Director for Marketing of Koda Ltd and the Chairman of Commune Lifestyle Pte Ltd – a subsidiary of Koda Ltd. He has significant experience in international marketing and corporate branding. He is at the helm of the Group’s marketing initiatives, particularly in customer relationship management, client base diversification, trade fairs participation, new product launches and marketing talent recruitment.
He is instrumental in identifying the latest design trends and dealing with changing consumer preferences. Being with Koda for more than 25 years, he has rapidly expanded Koda’s market share, reaching out to more than 120 customers across more than 40 countries throughout the globe.
Mr. Koh was elected as President of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) from 2012-2016. He is Chairman of International Furniture Fair Singapore Pte Ltd and the SFIC Finance Advisory Committee. He was also elected to the 60th Board of Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) in 2019 (2019-2021). He is the current Vice President of the Franchise and Licensing Association and was also elected as a Council Member of Singapore Business Federation (SBF) (2020-2022). He is also a Vice Chairman of the SBF Small and Medium Enterprise Committee (SMEC), Member of DesignS, as well as Distinguished member of the Presidential Advisory Commission of Design Business Chamber Singapore. He currently sits in the Industry Advisory Group for School of Spatial & Product Design (2021-2023) at Lasalle College of Arts (Singapore).
He holds a BSc. in Marketing from the University of Oregon (USA) and an MBA in International Marketing from the San Francisco State University (USA).
